Not expert level.May be high school level. I am not about sure about American schooling but I think my guess is right about the level of the students who should be using this book.I was looking for GMAT or MCAT entrance level reading comprehension and I found one by ARCO to be very good. I really liked the clear format, the focused lessons, and the areas covered. I have used the lessons effectively with junior high school students as well as adults.
I would recommend this book for anyone from high school through graduate school. It is an excellent workbook for those who have found their reading comprehension skills needing improvement.
This book is written for adults; however, I'm using it to teach reading comprehension strategies to my 6th graders. They need to be challenged and I like the format. Teaching reading strategies is the same no matter what age you are.
